Oil pressure warning light

Default Oil pressure warning light
Hey guys, Yesterday i got a oil pressure warning light. It was the oil can tilting to the right with oil "dripping".

Ive been researching and all indications come to the sensor, Is this true? if so where is the sensor located on this car?

Also if i recall the oil can was YELLOW

2005 audi a6 3.2


Any input would help

Yes, that warning is for a failed sensor.


(I'd still double-check the oil level with the dipstick.)

Thanks for the help, Checked oil level its dead on in the middle. Hoping thats the issue

The issue is not the oil level. But the sensor monitoring the oil level is the issue. Is bad so this symbol mean this sensor have to be replace.
