P2006 & P2007
I did carbon build clean up yesterday and now I'm getting P2006 & P2007. I read about the codes and seems most likely vacuum leak. Today I took the intake and lower intake back off everything is hook up and looked for bad hose and could not find one. I tried spaying Breaker Cleaner and around the vacuum hoses and nothing changed. What are some methods that you guys do to find vacuum leak? I saw some do the smoke but is that safe to do?

yes i agree i did the carbon clean up and a ran a can of sea foam through it after wards and drove the car it was like brand new especially the throttle response. And recently before an oil change i ran engine cleaner that you add to the engine and let it run between 2 and 3 rpm for ten mins and flush the engine oil and it takes all the sludge out and i put new one in 0W40. Car has always ran 5W40 since i owned it in last 4 years but i changed it per advice of the forums

Leave it running on idle and spray it directly in the throttle body. It would help if you have a second person to rev the RPM as directed by the sea foam. Use the long bendy straw and just slide it in between the intake and the throttle body. In other words just make sure that it is as air tight as possible before you go about it. It worked like a charm for me.
