Default Problems with replacing the blower motor

Hi! My blower motor for 2.4 BDW - 2005 needs to be changed. But im struggling big time finding the correct part number as i want to buy used part.

The local dealer says the part number is 4F0820020A. But the used dealers are selling the part for the same car with the part number 4F0820521 and 4F0 820021..

It seems like its a big confusion going on amongst these dealers for used parts.

Does anybody know if there is the same blower motor for all C6 cars?

ETKA 7 lists P/N 4F0820020A for a blower motor, MY 2005 C6 A6. P/N 4F0820521A is listed as the control module for the blower motor.

i would trust Gary. Scrappers are notorious for reading the PN off a connector or control module and thinking that number applies to the underlying master assembly.

Is the motor dead? Or noisy? They can be easily fixed: most often the TWO sintered bronze bushings are dry and need lube; or the motor brushes are worn out. Any electric motor shop can do the work.

Thanx for the replies. Actually it has worked occasionally the last 8-9 months. It could work the first time i start the car in the morning, but not after that. No matter how many times i start the car. There was also some noise from the fan.

Labour costs are very high in Norway, thats why im looking for a used part rather then having the existing repaired. A new blower motor costs about 500 US from Audi and about 350 US from local dealer. I can find cheaper from Ebay, but with shipping and taxes it comes to around 350 US.

I agree that 4F0820020A seems to be the right PN.

I found a used for 100 US, the part is from a car done 61 000 KM.

The one i found is not listed with PN only with this "BOSCH 01305508100" . And the car it is from is listed: A6, 2005-2008 (TYPE III, FASE 1), BPJ.170HK, WAUZZZ4F66NO78534.

When i google BOSCH 01305508100 i find this part is for A4..

Yes you are right, the scrappers are very bad at reading correct PN. So im going to this dealer to check this myself
