rattle from glovebox

rattle from glovebox
I have a 2010 A6 that has developed an annoying rattle coming from somewhere in the glovebox that used to come around only when temperature was cold, and now is happening all the time.
Tried to figure out where its coming from while others are driving and have had zero luck.
Has anyone had similar experience, and if so, how in the world did you fix it.
Thanks for any help!

You may need to remove the glovebox assembly from the dash. Then see if the rattle is still there, and touch things back there to see if you can find it. If its still in there, it could be something actually inside the ventilation housing thats loose or broken.

I had a rattle in my car. One of the two bolts that secure the glovebox was missing. If you get on your back and look up you will see two bolts which secure glovebox to dash. See if yours are loose or one may be missing.
