All, I've read somewhere that with VAG-COM you can program the car to allow openening and closing your windows with the car remote. I asked the dealer if he could do it for me and he said NO!!!

I don't really want to buy VAG-COM just for that. Anyone know if there's other ways to it?

My dealer will program them if I give him the codes...if I end up with a new A6 after all.

Hold either the open or lock button on the remote for about 5-10 sec and windows will all open.do the same thing to put em back up!

That would probably work if the feature is enabled. From what I gather, the US versions have the feature disabled while the EURO versions has it enabled! It does not work on mine (US version).

I checked mine. We can enable and disable the function with the MMI, under the 'CAR SETUP'. We can even choose wich window(s) to be enabled.

I turned it on with VAG-COM this weekend, including the sunroof.

I'll buy a drink to whoever turns it on for me. I'm in SoCal, Irvine to be exact.

BTW, I saw an 05 or 06 RS4 this morning on Redhill and Barranca in Irvine. Nice car.

I had offers, but eventually got my own kit...mostly because I have 2 cars that can use it, and also because no one close-by had one to share...so I thought I'd make mine available.
