RESEALED TIMING CHAIN COVER BUT STILL LEAKING IN THE AREA
Hello All, I jsut resealed both UPPER timing chain covers, waited 3 hours to cure, test drove for 15 mins, jacked up the car and saw a little oil spot around the seal. Am I doing anything wrong? I used Dirko sealant (red sealant).
I do have 2 codes:
16840/P0456/001110 - EVAP System: Very Small Leak Detected
18975/P2543 - Low Pressure Fuel Sensor (G410)
I will order N80 purge valve and pressure regulator valve (PCV) just incase I'm not getting the pressure out. I will also order G410 low pressure fuel sensor. But I"m stumped why its still leaking around the resealed seems. any advice would be great!!
ps. I read somewhere I may need the LOWER timing chain covers to be resealed ?? I'm stumped!!
