Default S6 drive shaft question

Having a growing problem with vibration and my research leads me to believe that it is related to the center bearing on the drive shaft. Blauparts has a helpful description of the causes of various symptoms, but they no longer sell the drive shaft re-build parts.

Any parts source information would be helpful.

Does anyone know the Audi Part number for the S6 and will the A6 drive shafts interchange?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I did find the OE part number: 4F0521101C, the good news is that a new one is only ~$1500 from Audi online...

What I've found in the past is that most will ship anywhere, as long as the buyer pays and arranges for shipping. In this case, one could contact DHL or Deutsche Post to arrange for delivery from Germany to the USA.

Thanks guys. I did some research on car-part.com, bought one with moderate mileage. Once the old one is out I will tear it down to see what makes the center bearing so special...
