Tire Offset question

Tire Offset question
I'm looking at picking up a set of OEM A5 18x8.5 et29 wheels with winter tires already on them for a pretty good price.
The question I had: Would the offset of the wheels be too aggressive and result in rubbing or should I be able to run them just fine? The tires on the wheels are Blizzak LM-60 245/40/18.
I do know that anything lower than et32 on 19x8.5 will rub but I'm not sure if the same rule applies to 18" wheels.
I am aware that I'll need hub rings for proper fitment but aren't sure if the offset is way too aggressive or not.

Have you possibility to find Nokian Hakkapelitta R2? I asked because ít's better then Blizzak LM-60.
Currently about ET 29.
I had replaced front calipers from S6 and using now brake disk 385 mm. According constructivity of (OEM wheels 8.5x18) ET 38 not enough - wheel's disk was touched to caliper. I had installed spacer 10 mm and have ET 28 now.
Wheels not so agressive and doesn't touch to elements of suspension.

It's a used set, so I don't get to pick what tires are on. But I can definitely change the tires once I get them. The Blizzaks only have 4K miles on them, so they should last me for a while.
That's good to know that they won't rub. I'll go ahead and get them hopefully next week and see how things go.

Would be nice if you make a photo after wheels replacement.

I'll definitely put up pictures after I've gotten the new wheels installed. I'll probably get them installed around November or whenever it finally decides to get cold enough/start snowing.

Update
I did say I was going to update the thread when I got the wheels installed, so here we go:
I ended up going with a 19" setup instead compromising of:
19x8.5 ET32 TSW Willow Bronze
255/35/19 Blizzak LM-60
The combo has been great so far. I thought the color combo might not work but they look great. I think the wheels did raise the car a bit, so lowering might be in the cards now, but the clearance works great for snow.

After a quick freezing car wash:

Hi, everyone, please give for novice some help about the same question of the rims..
Recently purchased 2007 S6 and found a set of wheels for sale locally. They are OEM rs4 rims, which is 19", 9J and ET 29. Recommended ET for 19x9 is 37. So it is 8mm difference. Are there any chances they will fit for me? Does anyone tried to instal this dimension rims on S6? Thanks.
