Towing with '09 Avant

Towing with '09 Avant
So I'm eyeballing using my '09 Avant to pull my camper for a road trip this summer instead of my Land Cruiser. It's only about 1800-1900 lbs loaded up. I recall reading somewhere that the avants already came with stiffer springs than the sedans, there's already a trans cooler, and I'm putting in some fresh trans fluid/carbon cleaning in the next 2 weeks.
Anyone else pulled anything with their A6, namely an avant? I was thinking of getting the H&R rear sway and if absolutely need be, air bags for the rear springs but I doubt I'll need them as long as I get the hitch at the right level and keep the tongue weight to 180-200lbs. The cost savings in fuel is what is prompting the train of thought, as well as the extra power and more friendly road manners.

Definitely consider rearward visibility as suggested previously.

Rearward visibility isn't bad, I backed the avant up to the trailer yesterday just to see how that would be and it actually works out well. Guess campers were smaller in '78 (It's a Trillium 4500)
Yes, it does not have trailer brakes now but it has the mounts for them and I would definitely add them.
