Anyone know the difference between the various versions of this part?

There seems to be at least A, K, G, J and nothing on the end.

I pulled one out of a 2004 A4 with no letter on the end. It doesn't have the P symbol on it but otherwise looks identical to time. I think that the P is for parking lights. Anyone know what these specifically are? I leave my lights on 'auto' all the time, not sure if this matters...

Ok so it seems that the P is for parking lights so when you turn the car off with the blinker going it will light 'parking' lights on the right side front and back. Apparently for dimly lit streets and safety. It kind of makes sense but seems like it would make your car really stand out too... I don't really need this feature and can never see myself using it so if i loose it thats ok.

Any other differences?

The autodemont looks identical to what I have.
The one at ECS looks quite different.
The pelican one looks like what i took out of the A4.
