so I sent my module to get repaired hoping these darn lights come off.. Got it back few days ago reinstalled it and to no avail it wasnt working JUST yet. I had to take a 40 mile trip yesterday. While driving there the car still had the lights on. As soon as we start heading back I turn on the car and SURPRISEEE ESP and ABS lights were finally off.
I gues you have to drive about 50 miles for it to work YAY!
Thanks everyone on this board for all your help

I am going from top of my head but there are two modules for ABS in VAG COM (or ABS and ESP that are codependent). You have to clear the codes in the right sequence in order to clear them. Just play with it and you will find the order. I found this when I changed my old battery that was causing the same problems you had.

Scan your car again. The warning lights go off after certain number of restarts but the fault codes for ABS will still be logged in ECU because you have to clear them certain way.

Thank you will try it over the weekend, as of now I can hit the ESP button and the light will come on saying ESP has been turned off and vice versa so hopefully its a sign of things working
