But, like Glisse, I did hear that the new A7 is going to be much different than the A6, which I think is a good thing. One of the reasons I'm still on the fence about whether I should get a 2017 A7 is that the current generation A7 is virtually identical in many ways (interior, engine, etc.) to my 2014 A6. But it is a great car, and I love the exterior styling.
2017 Order guides are out. 2017 A7 will include a Competition edition with 3.0L HP bumped to 340. All other models same HP as 2016. Supposedly, Apple Car Play will be an available option. Competition edition will also include S diamond stitched seats and sport differential.

Some folks have posted the guides on other sites.

Enjoy the ride.

Thanks for the info. So 333 to 340? Is that a considerable bump in 0-60? I'd honestly love to go s7 this time around but I loved my glacier white nougat brown color combo.

Good find, BasicSlvr. After reading your post, I searched the Audizine forums. The Competition Edition looks good, almost like a hybrid between the A7 and S7, but I'm guessing that it'll add around $5K - $10K to price of an A7 Prestige. I didn't notice any other changes to the non-Competition Edition version. I'm hoping that they would add some new exterior colors, but I'm guessing that won't happen.

As far as the Apple/Android systems, after reading the posts on Audizine, it still seems like speculation rather than definitive facts. I would like to see something from Audi that would confirm it. I would be very surprised if the 2017 A7s will have it. If they were going to have it, I would assume that Audi would want to advertise it as soon as possible, no?

Thanks OldSchool. The order guides definitely list CarPlay. But, as noted in the AZ threads, anything could change prior to actual pricing. I ordered a 16 S7 in Feb which was just confirmed in production. Kinda wished I waited a bit. But, still excited to take delivery in May.

You're 100% right. I didn't notice the CarPlay reference in my first look at the order guide.
But, regardless, I'm pretty sure that when your brand new S7 arrives next month, you will be much more focused on the car's great looks and performance than the CarPlay it doesn't have.
