Since my lease is up in March 28, my salesman says he couldn't find any of them that matches my built at the moment and told me on Monday that he would rather have me pick up a new one built. So I emailed him right now to clarify this.

Just came back from the dealership. Confirmed that you can no longer order 2015's. 2016 pricing isn't out yet - might not be for a month or two.

I also met with a dealer today. While there I talked to the inventory manager. They confirmed that 2015s cannot be ordered, but have no idea how long it will take to get a '16.

I heard that the standard A7 seats will have slightly more bolstering for 2016 though and the contour seats would be even better. Other changes for 2016 is a bigger navigation screen with a much better processor (all MMI screens should look better, load quicker, etc..). You'll also hold value better with a 2016 vs. 2015 (especially since 2015 will be 1 year behind the latest model almost as soon as you get it).
I did sit in a S7 again today with the optional seats that will be available in the A models. I do like them. I also drove a friends S6 yesterday with the base S seats (diamond pattern). They are very comfortable. I really don't care about the nav screen updates. That is not a priority to me and the Audi infotainment interface is already far better than the Lexus and BMW we own now.

As to value, as long as I can buy the car right it all works out. If I buy a 2016 in March 2015 it will wind up being a high mileage two year old car three years after I buy it.

So I spoke to my salesman who put in my order for the 2015 Audi A7 as I spoke about earlier BUT he cannot confirm that the car will be a 2015 or 2016 and that Audi germany might pull it and make it a 2016 model. I hope that will be the case and that the pricing will not affect my deal on the 2015 model.

Nice! Hopefully it works out in your favor. When was the order placed? When is your scheduled build date? Based on those 2 dates, you should be able to figure out if it's a 2015 or 2016.

I'm ordering a new 2016 and wondered if anyone knew the difference between the Mythos Black Metallic and the Phantom Black. Also the new Cedar Brown interior has to be ordered with the individual contour seating package. Any thoughts on price for both and is it worth it?

thanks

Individual Contour Seating package is suppose to stay at $2k. Cedar brown will probably add $500-$1000. The current Layered Aluminum/Black Wood inlay is $900 - so somewhere around there is a safe bet.

So your saying somewhere around $3,000?? Any idea what the new cedar brown looks like? My current A 7 is nougat brown and doesn't sound like it makes sense to spend an additional $3,000 for just the new color. I really don't need the special seats. Any idea of the difference between the Mythos Black and Phandom Black?
