Spoke to my sa again and according to him "In trying to order an A6 for someone too. I have been told that the initial build outs will be by Audi. We can place orders after that. I have been told February." Not exactly sure what that means....Does Audi put out builds before dealers are able to place orders or something?

Just spoke to another dealership who claims they haven't even received the order guides yet and likely wouldn't be able to place orders anytime before the end of the year. Maybe this is a regional thing? I live down south in Houston, TX

I have a good contact at AoA - all the dealers got the order sheets either last week or early this week. Your SA just might not be up to date.

Yeah. I shared with the SA that even I had access to a order sheet so that didn't really make much sense. This is starting to frustrate me.

The order guide etc. are given to the management of the dealership. It is their function to distribute it to their personnel.

Unfortunately, it is common practice in the industry to delay that when the company still has a good number of previous year vehicles in inventory. By withholding the info on the new models, they push the sales people to promote the existing stock.

I was thinking that. Why start orders on new models when they problably have a good amount of 15's still in stock. Not exactly sure where that leaves me but I was hoping to have the first facelift in the city.
