A7 Limited numbers
If this has been covered before, please forgive me.
I had recently heard that A7's were produced in limited quantities to the US market and in 2012, its first model year, they only sent over 7,000 units.
Is this true? Have those numbers been consistent since?
I'm curious because in the garage where I park for work I've seen five other A7's - two black, two grey and two white along with mine.
This doesn't mean I like my car less, I just think our garage is a bit of an anomaly - we also have three SLS Gullwings in there too.
It would be very difficult to get me to like my car less.

According to this site, which tracks auto sales figures, that sounds about right:
Audi A7 Sales Figures - GOOD CAR BAD CAR
Although in general, US sales of the A7 are still relatively low in the ~8500/yr range.
And I agree, would be hard to like the car any less

I've pasted the numbers below in case the article disappears, but it's easier to read the table in the article. Note that the S-models and A-models are lumped together in these numbers.

This is more timely and and shows all the models (US sales for July and YTD):
It appears YTD the A3/S3 have taken sales from the A4/S4/A5/S5. Otherwise the SUVs have shown the rest of the growth. Negative growth for all the other models which I'm sure is concerning for Audi U.S.
