So far, private to private is the only way to get CPO under the subsequent owners name. Only other way dealer could recertify a vehicle is, them buying and reselling you the vehicle. That difference might wind up being around 700 dollars. This is after talking to several ppl over the phone.
I did call the dealership to go over the warranty that my car had, they did mention that it has the Extended Warranty.

I have thought over my options:
option 1: after my warranty ends, i'll try to claim a small issue that would cover under the extended warranty. if they cover it, then i know i got the CPO
option 2: sell it and re-certify with the dealer.
option 3: 3rd party Warranty 3yr/36 mo. i have a trusted mechanic in the dallas area, get an engine and transission diagnosis, since he knows what warranty companies denies/approves coverages, i'll go with the one that'd require my needs. for my 545i it cost me 3500.00. but it paid 13k in repairs.
option 4: Trade it around 75k. my 545i started to hurt my pocket around 80k. between 80k and 130k miles. it ran about 16k dollars on total repairs.
