I need help on where actually do I suppose to place my foots. The ground to open the trunk automatically, I was stepping and pressing everywhere and it wouldn't open.. However while washing the car, I was no where near the trunk release and it popped open twice...

Where's the sensor at, and how to I actaully open it using my foot.. I love this car...

Had a similar issue but the trunk would not open with the foot motion at all. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the sensor and it now works perfectly. The foot motion with a working trunk sensor is very forgiving and many motions under the center of the rear bumper will actuate the opening.

Yeah, I saw that video I'm stepping and stomping.., it doesn't work for me..

Looks like something is defective. Take it in for service.

Is this in 2013 model also? Mine's not working, but maybe it's only in newer cars...

Yes, it has been introduced after the 2013 model year

I didn't even know this was a feature on my 2014 until I saw this thread. I have been able to get it to work a couple of times (after basically kicking the car 3-5 times). Not very easy to get it to trigger IMO.

Like all other buttons and sensors, you have to basically develop a feel for where it really is. Next time you are at your dealership, ask them to show you, they likely have it figured out.
