OEM Grill was a bitch to remove but worth it. RS7 Style grill with Night Vision. No issues with fitment..Also installed the ALL-Fit Lower lip which really made the difference.

I'm struggling to find a RS7 grill that will work with front parking sensors and front camera. I would appreciate if someone knows where to find one that works with the front camera. Apparently some of the after market grills has issues with the camera. I want black grill with black Audi rings.
Another questions: I took my car to workshop to have windows and rear lights tinted. Asked them to paint the rear Audi rings in black but they said it's a lot of work to get it off. Surely that's held on with just tape/glue?

This $250 unit on ebay will work for example:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/RS7-Style-Black-Front-Honeycomb-Mesh-Sport-Grill-Grille-Fit-for-Audi-A7-S7-12-14/171611001916?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D35721%26meid%3Daaee4d33e63a4e90bb5f8b561ee11d1d%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D331198836981
I also hesitated at first when the grills were going for $700 or so a while back. But then they dropped down to a reasonable price on eBay so I decided to go for it and figure it out as I go.
I have a loaded A7 and had to disconnect the Auto Cruise Control radars, 2 parking sensors and IR camera sensor to fully remove the old grill. They are connectors that you fiddle with a small screwdriver to unhook. Be sure to unhook the heater tubes for the IR cam from the clips on the grill. The parking sensors just snap out of the old grill housing and simply clip into the new grill. That is what the two coin sized holes are for on the grill.
The plastic housing for the IR camera took some customization to fit right on the inside of the new (sub $300 clone) RS7 grill. Used my Dremel Multi-Max Oscillating saw to cut some tabs, slots and pegs so the mount fits and the Audi logo clips in from the front. But it is all done now and all the sensors work as before.
Be sure to spray paint with flat black the shiny aluminum frame bar and any shiny surfaces in front of the radiator. It turned out well and looks like the OP's picture and the eBay adds. Looks great and subtle.
Question: Should I put the RS7 badge on the grill to make the car faster?

I personally do not like seeing the aluminum frame right behind the black mesh. Consider getting some flat black paint and a squirt tube like you find on spray lubricants.

If you take your time and spray lightly past the mesh, that bright-work will just disappear and look great.
