ECU tunes, pulleys, downpipes increase MPG?
I'm debating to get myself an ECU tune on my Audi A7 TDI, but wondering if I would get better MPG.
Further thinking, do ECU tunes, upgraded pulleys, down pipes, and bigger throttle bodies also increase MPG significantly? I'm also debating if I want to sell my TDI for a TFSI since APR is working on an Ultracharger upgrade for the Audi A7. Yes I know increased power is more intent to use it, but I'm trying to justify the TDI's ~28mpg to TFSI's ~21mpg.

I don't know about tunes on a TDI.
On the gas engines, most tunes are about the same as stock in the lower RPM's. You won't see any MPG increase.

For example, my driving style is that I floor it at every light. Does an ECU tune increase the amount fuel I use or better utilization of fuel, but more power?

I seriously doubt that a tune will increase your gas milage. It is pretty simple, to get more power you need to burn more fuel. If increasing your fuel economy is your goal, maybe rethink your driving style. There is no need in these cars to floor the throttle pulling away from every traffic light. You can still drive in a "spirited" manner without such a drastic use of the throttle.
