Hi Guys,


So I decided to perform an exhaust mod on the A7. It has been a little over a year since my stage 2 tune and injen intake. After doing some research, and listening to many exhausts on the 3.0 TFSI engines, I decided that all I need was a little more exhaust sound with minimal to no drone.


I'm happy to say that I found a solution. I decided to replace my center muffler with a custom y pipe, and keep my rear mufflers. Here is the link to the exhaust sound:

Sorry, for the sideways video. There is no drone, no rasp, and the car sounds phenomenal at full throttle. Let me know what you guys think? I will try to get a drive by shot soon.

Sounds great.. I was thinking keeping the resonator, and dumping the mufflers... Did that on my VeeDub and liked it.

Sounds nice! Did you research all the muffler/resonator delete options and results before deciding on this route? Would love to hear your findings with the other possible options and what lead you to this solution.. The goal would be a bit more aggressive sound with no added drone.

Exotich - were you ever able to get a drive by shot? What do you think of the non-resonated x-pipe, now that you've had it a while? Thx
