It just expired on April 3rd.
I checked with ASAP and they quoted me 3 years 50K miles for 2k with 0 deductible. I just don't wanna buy any warranty and be screwed with a bad company. What would you guys recommend?

I would go with an Audi branded warranty or Fidelity if it were me.

There is no "branded" Audi extended warranty (Except on a CPO). Most dealers use Fidelity which is a third party warranty company. On a four year old car it will be expensive for any kind of good no deductible coverage like their Platinum warranties.

I meant that the paper work carries the Audi brand logo on it if purchased from an authorized Audi Dealer vs. non-Audi branded documents.

Yes, the underlying warranty companies are the same i.e. Fidelity.

Here's 5 for $.78. Any time the fob acts up, toss in a new battery.

That's simply marketing with permission from AoA to use the logo (which I'm sure cost Fidelity). Also, when I priced out the Platinum plan a couple of years ago, their direct rep offered me a price that was significantly less than from the dealer. You can bet the dealer is not selling it at their cost.

I won't name the dealer here but yes they sold it to me at their cost. That's all I was trying to say is that I would rather buy (if equal in cost) from the dealer vs. reseller of the Fidelity warranty. I totally agree with you that fundamentally there is no difference, I think I just felt better about it buying from an Audi dealer. BTW - I chose the Platinum as well and have already used it for my B&O subwoofer that went out, which would have been $1600 to fix through the dealer
