Default Fault codes

Hi all,

I scanned my 2013 a7 and see some fault codes. For now and the future, how do I found out what the codes mean? Is there a website or something I can put the code in to tell me what it means. Thanks

Keep in mind, if everything is working properly, sometimes a fault code from a scan can often not be a real problem. I've found a few from time to time on my scans that my dealer's senior service tech attributes to occasional sensor anomalies yet all systems are fine when checked out. He sees these mystery fault codes all the time.

Fault codes that do not turn on the check engine light are known as pending trouble codes. When the program sees a pending code often enough, it turns on the CEL. If the light came on every time a sensor was out of range, the light would be blinking all the time and soon ignored.

Every time I scan the car since new, I show a fault code on the list for the sunroof with something like "temp out of range". The sunroof has always worked fine for over three years. When I first pointed it out to my tech, he said he's seen that one come up frequently but is not a problem, just an overly sensitive sensor and not worth worrying about. I don't.

It could be one of the ACC sensors in the grill is covered in road gunk, out of alignment or has failed.
