First long trip in the new 2015 A7 TDI
First impressions after 10 days use including a 1100 mile round trip from Toronto to Northern Michigan:
Average fuel consumption 6 l/100km or 39.2 mpg.
MMI screen resolution and colors are far superior to what I had in the 2012 A7. Front camera view is great. Corner camera views are somewhat confusing, I have not yet found a practical use for them.
My wife loves the massage seat. I found the old standard seat to have been more comfortable, maybe I still need to find the optimum settings.
Hands free trunk opening is a great feature, works well.
Active lane assist not only vibrates the steering wheel when you cross the line without signaling but puts some resistance on turning the wheel, so you can stay in the lane. I actually let the wheel go and allowed the car steer itself. It did stay in the lane through a few curves but after a little while a message popped out, telling me to take control of the steering.
The Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season tires are quieter then the Goodyear Eagle LS2-s were on the 2012 and handle just fine.
I like the start-stop feature, it is unobtrusive.

Sounds like a great start. Thanks for the report, I have 18.5K @37.3 mpg on my 2014 A6 Prestige TDI and have formed very similar impressions. A couple of points. TDI economy on the road will only get better but city driving--especially stop and go--will really drop it down.
I didn't think US A6s here have the massage seating even as an option. The other day I noticed my lumbar support was moving around and giving me a lower back massage. I thought I was having delusions but they are reproducible delusions. What is this feature like on the A7? Maybe my seat is malfunctioning but if it wants to be a massage seat I'll take it.
The ventilation in these seats is unfortunately a bad joke by Audi. Mine makes a lot of noise but does virtually nothing. How's yours?
At first I would have liked a more cushy comfortable seat with better side support but I have become quite accustomed to the firm seating. I find that I am not tired or stiff after driving all day on a 14hr road trip and I no longer notice the firmness. Either the seat has loosened up or I have accepted it for what it is. I am reminded of Jabba the Hut: "you will grow to love me." I actually like the seats now. Maybe Audi's orthopedic specialists knew what they were doing. Nonetheless, my next car will have cushier seats. Are you listening Audi? (doubtful)

My issue with the seat is the lumbar support, which (to me) feels like someone is pushing a bowling ball into your back. In the 2012 A7 standard seats I could retract it completely into the seatback so it was not protruding at all. In the new car even at the furthest back position it is still sticking out somewhat.
I don't know about the ventilation, did not try it and have no great urge to do so, not a feature that I have any need or use for.

congrats! those are some great MPG numbers = TDI efficiency. Are you calculating based on your fuel usage or the onboard info? I kinda wish the MPG did not reset after one hour parking, too.

The rear corner camera is awesome when you are parked between 2 large SUV's. Very easy to see traffic coming so you know if you can start to back out

Those corner camera views take some getting used to. I originally expected a view from the corners, the actuality is a left and right view from the front and rear center of the vehicle. Once you get it, they are rather useful.
