How to Install a subwoofer + amp on a new 2016 A7
Hello! I am new here. Just got my new 2016 audi a7
I have the stock Bose System and would like to install my own bass system in there.
I've done it before in my old car but not sure where to start with the A7 as it already has an amp at the back for the bose system. In my old car I also connected the output to come from the rear speakers as I didnt want to go all the way to the front panel and wanted everything to look stock from the outside.
Once I get the box mounted and the amp on the box, I assume there is a battery at the back I can connect to for the Positive and the ground on the Negative, but where do I connect the output to?
I've searched for tutorials but only found 2 quick and to the point installations but it didn't answer my question specifically.
Thank you for all the replies in advance!

There is no need to replace the bass system in a Bose system. I found that by disabling 3D Sound, moving the sound focus to the front and using full range source material (CD, FLAC 16/44.1 or better) and there is plenty of bass.

I tried that but didn't find what I was looking for.
If I get the sub, box, and amp, the only question I have is where do I connect the music input wires? I don't have to run it to the front behind the deck do I?

I don't know of any specific differences between the 2016 A7 and my 2013, but I've written up a detailed explanation of my subwoofer install here:

Good news is that it's not very complicated at all. And no, you don't have to take the dash apart :-).

I imagined that I would have to remove the sub once every 1-2 years to use the full cargo space. That's why I installed it the way I did. I haven't needed to do it yet, but I can remove the whole sub box in less than 60 seconds. So it's not that big of a deal. To me, the better sound was way more important.
You could use a similar setup with an 8" or 10" sub and even a smaller box, but I happened to have a 12" lying around.

I tend to have a pretty full truck most of the time. As many as 3 golf staff bags when I go to do club fittings. I ordered the Bang & Olufsen in my S7 and think it sounds great/
