Default HUD / Gauges Display on Windshield

I have HUD on my 2014 A7 and therefore a windshield that reflects the images. I have noticed that the bottom 10% of the primary gauges (tach & speedo) display on the upper 6" of the windshield. This is very distracting during night driving. What have others done to minimize or eliminate the effects?

Haven't noticed that but what's even more distracting is discoloration in the LED screen of the HUD that projects onto the windshield.

If it bothers you that much, a small adjustment of the seat position will alter the viewing angle and get the reflection off the windshield.

I do not have any discoloration on the HUD display in my 2015 A7 and did not have any in my 2012 A7 either.

I have a feeling it's related to the extreme summer desert heat out here in Arizona. Unfortunately, they wouldn't replace it under warranty either.

Any of the adjustments to seat position don't eliminate the view/effect. I have to put the sun visor down to eliminate it.

I noticed this as well and unfortunately, the only seat position I could set to eliminate it was an uncomfortable driving position lol. Guess i'll just get used to it.

I have a similar issue, but I just turn down the brightness of the dash display to minimise the reflection.
