We just traded in our '08 S4 Avant for a '12 A7 Premium Plus with the sports package. The hatchback allows to put both road bikes in the back with luggage. The car is fast. The ride and comfort is a welcome relief for my old golfer's back. And the A7 uses far less gas than our S4. The only regret is missing the V8's sound.
It will be my wife's car for most of the time. My daily driver is a Mini Cooper S with a manual transmission. We're going on a long Mini trip this summer (MTTS), but I would love to drive the A7 and call the Mini thing a day. Oh well.

Congrats on your A7. I'm sure you will love it. I have a '13 A7 Prestige...rarely does a week go by that I don't get compliments from strangers.

By the way, if you don't want to put your bikes in the cargo area, you can use a bike rack if you get a set of "hatch huggers".
