Default MMI bugs or me going crazy? Seat alignment menu

MY2016 Prestige (I assume the latest MMI). Wanted to restore seat symmetry through MMI (CAR>Vehicle Settings>Seats>Front passenger's seat>Align with driver's seat) but the last menu was not there... Pretty sure it used to be there and I had used it. Restarted/reset the MMI several times - no luck. The manual states that it should be there (for vehicles with memory seat function, which I believe I have - memory buttons on the driver's side door + key memory).
Anyone else seen this issue? Thanks
P.S. I may be confusing it with my previous Audi that had this option.
P.P.S. jjsC6 responded that on A7 the alignment option is only available on 2016 models with the individual seat contour package, which I don't have. Can anyone with MY2016 A7 prestige without the seat contour package please check whether the alignment menu is available in your MMI? Thanks!

That feature only exists on cars with memory seats on both sides, which was not available in the U.S. until the 2016s with the optional seats (can't remember what they are called). Without the passenger side memory it has no way of working.

Hmmm... Thanks. Then I must be misremembering using it on the A7. It certainly was on my A5. Without the passenger side memory...

That's disappointing if it's not available. I had just read about that option in my 2016 S6 owner's manual and was looking forward to using it. However, I just noticed today that the required MMI menu option is not available for me either.

In theory, using the driver's seat memory setting to synchronize the passenger seat alignment, shouldn't require a passenger seat memory (this just extends the driver's seat memory to the passenger seat but I may be oversimplifying). I'll run it by my dealer and get confirmation just in case.

I'd love to be wrong. But I remember getting all amped up over the possibility my car had it. I'm quite sure I studied my owners manual and found you had to have passenger memory. I too kept looking in the MMI menu. Please prove me wrong!
