My first audi.
Hello Guys,
Just purchased my first Audi. 2015 A7 TDI demo model. Love the car. But I was wondering what are some of the higher quality performance chips out there? Is it safe to assume certain ones wont void my warranty?
Thanks
J

Welcome to the forum. I personally would be leery of putting in a performance chip for a TDI. Especially now with some of the more recent revelations about additional embedded software routines used to circumvent EPA emissions. My advice would be to wait for the dust to settle and give yourself some time to research performance chips. Besides, how much more performance do you really need anyway? You have an awesome ride why fuss with it. Good luck.

Every engine tune on the market will void your warranty. Audi will be able to see that you have flashed the engine software and that gives them all they need to deny your claim....

Cant argue there brother its an amazing car. Can't believe i didn't go Audi long ago. Its quick for sure. I was just curious as i figured those emission issues were mainly involving the smaller engines.

I don't know if anyone makes a aftermarket diesel exhaust for the A7 TDI. Not many were sold and those that bought them don't modify them much.
You have a engine that has the torque of a V8, the fuel efficiency of a four banger and a emissions problem that will be addressed sometime in the future. Enjoy it, hope for the best and keep it stock until the dust settles.

If your forum name is really your e-mail address, I would change it to something else. You will likely see a bunch of unwanted e-mails and wind up on a bunch of spam lists.
Welcome to the forum though!

Congrats! +1 on earlier comments. Also left in D the TDI spends a lot of time at low rpm (but still pumping out heaps of foot pounds). You should post some pics.
