Thanks for the heads up! According to Audi Recall Services by Vehicle Identification Number it's a "Service Campaign" and not a recall. Valid for my 2012 A7

They call it a recall in the letter I received.

I just got it done this week along with my 65K service. Car is like a rocket now!

My 2016 updated 3.0 engine isn't part of the recall. ITs already smooth and faster then the original 3.0T. : )

I tried to change the title to say it's a Service Campaign but it only changed for my OP and not for the thread title.

If a mod can do that I would appreciate it.

I think what it's saying is make sure you're back to stock, as Audi is not going to restore your ECU back to stock before applying the update.
I found it interesting that they're even mentioning such language...speaks to the volume of tuned cars they must be seeing.

No, I was being sarcastic. The issue they're correcting has zero impact to driveability..
