Hello all, picked up a 2012 A7 Prestige with the 19" sport package, Cold Weather Package, Innovation Package, Driver Assistance Package and B&O stereo.

So far, I love the car! Everything I thought it would be. I have been on the forums and read a lot about the B&O not living up to a lot of peoples standards. I was shocked when I test drove the car to find that the car has ZERO bass, which is not an exaggeration. Crystal clear, just no bass. I ended up buying the car anyways, figuring I would just need to get something aftermarket installed for low range. Took the car to an audio specialist yesterday and turns out that one of the connections on the sub had come loose. He removed the sub from the spare tire compartment and within 15 minutes had the whole car sounding amazing again. That said, I think the Bang and Olufsen has plenty of low range for my taste... however I wouldn't pay for the option new.

Just wanted to share, and say that the forum has been a great educational tool in making my purchase. Also just got the two month free subscription to Audi Connect due to the whole T-Mobile issue. Slow, but love Google Maps!

Nice ride, congrats! Really digging the red brake calipers, did they come like that or first mod?

Thanks! Calipers were already done. Rims had also previously been plastidipped by the original owner but it was poorly done and peeling. Had the dealership remove it all and spent the better part of an afternoon polishing them up again.

Congrats on the new car. I have the Bose and it pretty well sucks - especially the bass. I work with a guy who has one with B&O. He loves the stereo except for the bass. He put a large sub-base box in the "trunk". Sounds marvelous, but I don't want to put one in my trunk. Unless Audi upgrades an affordable system it will deter me from buying another. I underestimated how important the sound system is to me as I basically use the car to commute to work during the week.

Other than that I love the car. I'm actually on my second A7. I had a 2015 that I kept for 10 months, then traded it for a 2016. Don't ask, it's a long story.

I hear you on the front license plate. I wanted to transfer my vanity plates from my last car, but it was a lease. I didn't realize that when you lease the lease holder owns the plates... even though I had them for 10+ years and they say my last name. So I am currently in limbo with an IA sticker while my generic plates come in, hopefully then I will be able to get my old vanity plates back on the car with a trip to the DMV.
