Next-gen A7 to lose its distinctive rear end
#11
I'm glad I got an A7 if there's a chance it's undergoing a drastic rear-end revision. To me it was totally worth every penny over an A6 for what is essentially just 'design'. I agree with the other posters, if Audi's truly changing the end, the better be doing something really amazing.

If they make the rear end more mainstream IMO they will take away the most attractive part of the car and it will beg the question, "Why not just buy an A6?"

Other than the sloped pillars, the trunk looks just like the A6.
I'm out.

The author apparently likes to guess at the look with various renderings. Here's a set of different renderings of the new A7:
Next Gen Audi A7 Sportback Promises a More Radical Design
Bottom line is until Audi releases the first actual photos, it's all just a guess.

A7
I have also owned a lot of different cars most european and my A7 hands down gets more looks and compliments than any of the other cars I have had. They are going to screw this up changing the lines on this cars rear end. IMO
