I'm glad I got an A7 if there's a chance it's undergoing a drastic rear-end revision. To me it was totally worth every penny over an A6 for what is essentially just 'design'. I agree with the other posters, if Audi's truly changing the end, the better be doing something really amazing.

I hope that any change is evolutionary not revolutionary. The A7/S7/RS7 design is one of the most distinctive out there.

If they make the rear end more mainstream IMO they will take away the most attractive part of the car and it will beg the question, "Why not just buy an A6?"

Meh... let's hope these assumptive renderings are way off.

Other than the sloped pillars, the trunk looks just like the A6.

I'm out.

I think the front looks sick but the back needs work.

Hold on to your A7, It's now a classic if the renderings prove true.

The author apparently likes to guess at the look with various renderings. Here's a set of different renderings of the new A7:

Next Gen Audi A7 Sportback Promises a More Radical Design

Bottom line is until Audi releases the first actual photos, it's all just a guess.

Default A7

I have also owned a lot of different cars most european and my A7 hands down gets more looks and compliments than any of the other cars I have had. They are going to screw this up changing the lines on this cars rear end. IMO

f-ugly renderings indeed
front looks like a larger ford fusion,
rear looks like a smashed down dodge challenger?
