Default Noisy Tires

I have 20" Conti DWS tires on my 2012 A7 with just over 28K miles. For some reason, they've become very, very noisy. I've checked the alignment and it's never been off. Anyone else have this experience? TIA

I had the Conti's and ditched them after 10,000 miles. I switched to Bridgestone Turanza's and couldn't be happier. The ride is more supple and quiet with far superior grip over the Conti's. Depending on the ride/handling balance you want, you may want a sportier tire. Tire Rack is a great place to compare. Hope that helps.

Same issue here, but I have learned to deal with it, the price on it is just too good to pass up. I think 244 vs 396 per time... I could be wrong but thats what I think it was.

Did you learn to live with it or did you manage to deal with it?

If you're almost at 30k, you're getting down to the last 25% of tire life. Maybe less.

Less rubber left on a low profile 20 is going to create noise. So it's normal when you're tires are getting near the end.

I have a 2012 A7 -40k miles-with 21" wheels and Continental Extreme Control 265/35R21's.
tires became increasingly noisy, so I rotated in an "X" to reverse rotation. No change. Took to dealer for warranty. They found the right front wheel bearing was bad. solved the noise issue, but not happy about a bad bearing in just 40k miles.
