Self Parking
The wife just picked me up a 2012 A7 Prestige which now she has my old D2 as a commuter. When she brought my A7 home she thought the car had "Self Parking" but didn't know how to use it. It's been about a month since then and now I tried to figure it out and without any luck also. I looked it up and it seems that it's a feature in EU and not in NA. Does anyone know if this is true or that it maybe just a feature that needs activeted through VCSD. Any help would be appreciated.

from what I know, You need to have 2 additional sensors in the rear bumper on the sides of the car (just behind the rear tire, as well as 2 in the front), plus, there should be a button on center console, between the start/stop and sensor on/off switch

The self parking feature has never been available in North America C7s. The only parking aids that have been available are the rear and front parking sensors, rear camera with parking guidance and the passenger side mirror tilt. If you have the HUD, there would also be 360 degree camera view (not sure if the 2012 A7 offered that feature).

Right, it was not offered as an option on the 2012 A7 in North America.
