I also have 275/35/20 on my OEM 20s and they are perfect! I have the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 for the spring to fall period then 19s with 255/40R20 blizzaks during winter time. No issues with the 275/35R20s and I think its the BEST size.

275/35/20 seem so much cheaper from what i can see compared to the stock size 265/35/20. Can anyone that has moved up a size comment on any changes to speedo reading/mpg/comfort/roadnoise/handling changes?

The 275 is only 10mm (3/8") wider and 3.5 mm (1/8") taller than the 265's. When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 60.5mph (97.4km/h): 0.8% faster.

As long as you are within 2-3% speedo error its fine. the 275 is at around 1.4 percent and the car is smoother and rides great! No issues with speedo or MPG. Its the same to me. The handling is still tighter and FAR better with Michelins than the standard continentals.

Nope you cannot use them its too thick and will get more than 3 % speedo error. 275/35R20 is the perfect size and thickness for the 20s. No issues of bent rims or damaged tires after 20k on my A7 with bad roads here in Michigan. I am also very careful driver as well but have hit some medium potholes and no vibration or pulling or anything. I get my tire/wheel road force balance every 10k miles routinely and the car rides smooth as glass.
