Well, as my son has just been promoted to a job in Australia, my A8 is coming home to papa! I can't tell you how much I love this car. It has 151K miles on it and is still the least fatiguing highway cruiser I have ever owned. And, as I have a long commute, I'm really happy to have it back.

As my son didn't take quite as good of care of it as I have, I am in the process of automotive triage. Of greatest of concern:

There is a rough spot in the power steering travel. It happens between the wheel being on center and and 1/8 to a 1/4 turn on the steering wheel to the right. There is no notchiness (sorry- best word I've got for it) when turned to the left, or when turned past that point.

Any idea ($) what I'm dealing with?
