Front Muffler Removal?
The front muffler on my 2002 A8L has blown out. Has any one removed this and just welded in straight pipes in its place? Wondering if this would be too loud. Actually the car sounds quite good but perhaps a little too loud.
Or any suggestions on a full exhaust system in the US

There are a few video's on youtube of removing the front muffler with straight pipes. Can't advise on "too loud" as everyone's perception of loud is different.
