Press and hold the recirc button, and then press the vent control up arrow. The left temp indicator then displays a code number, and the right temp indicator it's value. Page up thru the codes with the temp + button until the left indicator reads 102. The right indicator then is coolant temp in oC as read by the instrument cluster. If there's no problems, 99.9% of the time the temperature should stabilize between 87 and 95 oC. I own a 2006 Audi A8 I love the car but every time I start it sounds like a stick shift and it's an automatic any thoughts would be appreciated thank you

My thought is that you should post this in the A8 D3 section as that's what you own. Beyond that I would ask what you are talking about as what you're saying makes no sense. Why would a manual or automatic sound any different? Confusing.
