Default Misfire #4 not going well..

I am at the end of my rope with this car (97 A8). It has a misfire on #4 and I have done everything I found here that makes sense to me.

Swapped coil. fail #4
Swapped plugs. fail #4
Swapped and cleaned fuel injectors. fail #4

What am I missing.

I can hear the injector working with a screwdriver held to it. When you start the car it takes a little time to throw a misfire code.

Any help would be great.

Default Swap the POS.

Pass side behind the air box.

Does anyone know where is the module located on 2002 S8?
Seems that replacing coils and spark plugs doesnt make my misfire go away

Facelift /40valve v8's do NOT have modules (technically they are integrated into each coil)
Check compression.... Is your car slow to warmup or have low heat? I had a similar issue and it led to carbon deposits causing misfires.

Its warming up very slow yes in comparison to my old mazda 626 that warms up on the next stop sign!
Did you fix them with injector cleaner?
Iv had maf code show up in july and mechanic cleared it on the spot and never came back but after that i got these misfire codes(in the mean time fuel pump was replaced but not the fuel filter)

Just poured one bottle of stp into the tank and 5 miles later check engine came off but its still throwing codes...i wonder if couple more bottles will fix the codes. We will see.

edit:i cleared the codes and for now its all good,8 ready,0 incomplete, mil off.

Just poured bottle of seafoam into the tank, curious to see if it will do anything.
