Oil Cooler Pipe Replacment
I have replaced this on my A8 and just ordered one for my S8 as it has the same leak.

you will also need
Oil Filter Housing Gasket
This is the secret weapon. You will read a lot about sockets and adapters and jacks etc. By using a descending in size set of wrenches I was able to get the cooler out very easily with no sockets or knuckle busting

When mine failed it leaked a large quantity very quickly. Like a gallon in a matter of minutes. This was right after my wife returned home from the store so the car was off but warm. No visible puddle when she parked it and then huge puddle about 5 minutes later. It would save some labor if you had it done at the same time as the timing service. I've read that many shops won't or don't know how to change the coolant pipe. I did mine myself. Timing service is easy. Coolant pipe is not.

OIL COOLER REPLACEMENT WARNING 40V!
If you rely on this guide as I have:
audipages A8 Oil Cooler Removal and Reinstall
be warned that if you buy this:
seal kit # 077 198 405
the smallest o-ring that is supposed to go on the rear coolant pipe connector is INCORRECT. Way to small does not fit and will leak.
Got the kit unopened from dealership.
It looked way to small even in picture but the rest of this guide is solid so I believed it. Not sure how that kit worked for others unless its a 32V vs 40V

I cut up allen wrenches with a die grinder to the proper lengths needed and them taped them into 3/8" drive socket creating custom length socketed allen tools. I was able to get to all the bolts without moving/jacking the motor.
