S8 transmission fluid/filter change
Other than dealer supplied parts, does anybody have other recommendations for the trans fluid and filter? I was looking at the kit on blauparts, but I've never used that site before and I have no idea how comparable ravenol is to oem fluid. Any info is appreciated, thanks!

use pentosin (same fluid),filtran(same oem filter),drain plug and gasket from a dealer.
I did pentosin and no problems since march this year.
Its around 2h of labor if you dont do it yourself.

I use Valvoline MaxLife ATF (Full Synthetic) and red lubeguard. OEM or Meyle gasket. Make sure the filter neck is round (not oval) and not too long, and that you do not forget the filter O ring. Consider the TransGo 5HP24-PR kit, I have installed two on both my D2s with exceptional results. Posted notes on another forum. Good info in this Jaaaag thread:
