Service Re-set **** in console broke off
The **** on the module in the console broke off for the unit that resets service interval, sets the clock etc. Is the unit hard to replace, an or expensive?

Is the stalk still present, or that's what broke off? The **** on mine just spins, and I have to grip the stalk to be able to turn it. If you need a new computer...Ebay I'd think. I'd probably contact the sellers of the cubby inserts and ask if they have the computer that fits inside. I remember removing mine when I did my carbon fiber swap; I think it was just 3 screws to get the cubby out and one plug to the computer.
I'm sure Audi would love to sell it to you for a few $100.

I do not know the name of the part, and can't find it on GAP. Their diagram doesn't seem to show it.
To remove the screws, you have to remove some other trim first (the shifter surround and the piece under the arm rests. The shifter piece is kind of pain, because you have to first remove the kick panels under the dash (the pieces that the driver's right shin and passenger's left shin would touch).
The removal procedure on oCarbon's website got me thru removal of all 13 pieces (well, 17 in my case as I did CF on the window switch trim too).
oCarbon ? blog » d2 a8/s8 trim removal guide
I'll keep an eye out for a spare computer.
On 2nd thought, you might be able to lift the computer out without removing the cup holder cubby. I can't remember if the plug on the back side has a clip or not.

Looks like there's a few different options:
4D0919721B - 5 Button w/navigation controls
4D0919721C - 3 button (menu, return, tele)
4D0919721E - Single menu button with ****
In any case, yours should have a sticker on the bottom with the part#.
