Slipping Transmission

Slipping Transmission
While I'm driving the auto transmission seems to slip then jumps into gear with a judder. This happens in most gears. If its in manual its not so bad.
I haven't had a chance to check the level yet.
Any help would be great.

It is rare to see one of those slip(FWD 5HP19). I would check the level and if it is fine I would find a good used trans for it.

My A8 has just started the same problem, but only between 2nd and 3rd. i've had no joy on the subject yet, so please share if you manage to resolve the issue
