Idk what the deal is but the moveable thigh adjuster comes off whatever it locks on to and bends downwards when I sit down I can't seem to get it to lock or snap back into place any advice or info ?

Is it extended or retracted?
Does it do the same in either position?
I don't have the sports seats (all D2 seats are Recaros..."comfort" or "sport"), so are the thigh adjuster extensions electrical or manual? I assume manual(?)
See if this ETKA drawing helps any...Bentley doesn't seem to show any procedure for the thigh extension.
#7 is the frame for that piece (#36)...#8 is a retention clip >>

Hi Sam,
The thigh extenders are manually operated (pull up and slide forward or backward - about 6" of extension (enough for some!)).
Looks like a reasonably simple mechanism centred around that large plastic moulding (7 on the diagram).
