Default Wiring diagram for D2 sunroof

Howdy,

I'm trying to do some custom wiring on a sunroof from an Audi A8 D2 facelift version.

The motor has the pinout with the following labels:

31- - negative
FRG+ - ignition
KS- - comfort-closure
30+ - permanent positive
KÖ- - comfort-opening

Pin 6 doesn't seem to be used. On the potentiometer is also a second cable with a red and a black wire, that connect to the headlight wiring.

The pre-facelift motor didn't have the comfort-opening option, which is why I went with this one.

My grief is now, that even though I connect KÖ- to negative, no matter if FRG+ is plus fed or not, nothing happens .. whatsoever.

Connecting KS- to negative works perfectly and closes the roof as expected.

Any ideas ?

/M

Not sure what you're trying to accomplish, but here's the wiring diagram for FL sunroof.

If by "comfort option" you mean remote opening(?), on my US model, there is no coding ( that I know of) that will accomplish that...only remote closing. The module can be coded to open or close windows, but only close the sunroof.

Hope this helps >>>>
