Finishing up the head unit FBAS retrofit and 6C-Back up Camera NO response
Hello all,
Finished with the FBAS connector and circuit implementation. Hooked everything up and when accessing 6c-Back up Camera module - no response from controller?
I wired the can bus by splice them with the can bus from the parking module xxx 283c.
Check wiring many times. Everything is correct.
Any ideas?
Do I have to access the 6c back up camera to turn it on?

I have 4E0 907 468 E on my car, I thought it supports RVC, but Adrian who sold me the Camera controller told me that I need "F" or newer "G" or "H".
I just ordered the 4E0 907 468 F from Germany for $100. I hope it works.
Can you please show me the screen shot of your VCDS can gateway coding so I can try on my car? It's almost done, I can't wait to get the camera working.

It's finally DONE!!!!!
Got the 4L0 907 468 B - it works - I can't change the codes on the new can bus gateway - I think I didn't do something correctly - Please let me know. Actually since my car is fully loaded - it has everything included already.
The best part is <a href="http://www.dognmonkey.com/audi/add-fbas-to-mmi-head-unit-4e0-035-729.html">the FBAS retrofit circuit</a> is working perfectly.
The +12V for the camera on the controller only shows 6V, it doesn't turn on the camera. I think I will just connect it to the back up light in the trunk.
What's wrong with this picture.

Now everyone can retrofit A8 Camera, it's not that expensive.

Coding for the modules looks correct in the videos. Not sure if the coding is correct for the gateway. With the different gateways, they moved some things around, so its best to take note of all the module names that were checked on the old gateway, and then check the same module names on the new gateway. There are a few modules that change their numbers, so you cant just check the same numbers on each.
