There is an awful lot of mass shifting through turns with an A8L. You might simply be noticing how a larger car handles. Try driving a Tesla, they behave very similarly.

In your first post it was 65 mph and you compared it with your BMW. Now it is also low speed and Grand Marquis. Is it deteriorating?

What size wheels? My 2007 has the sport 20s and I also noticed the skittish behavior over uneven pavement. Especially going over manhole covers (which seem to never be flush to the surrounding pavement) it felt like the back end would step out a little bit. I wasn't too bothered thinking it was just the price of having such wide tires on the car.

Then I replaced the Michelin Pilot Super Sports with Falken FK453s and the skittish behavior went away. No other changes. Same alignment. Same tire pressure. Take it for what it's worth.

To the OP, hope you get the issue sorted, I don't experience the issue in my D3.

The only time I had that behavior on my D3 was when the tires were about worn out. Then it got bad fast.

Tires are brand new pirelli P6 all seasons as of 6k mi. Ago.

Our simply feels like the car does little lateral movements. ..as if traction was at its limits.

Doesnt feel glued to the road like my bmw

Mishar, I notice it at various speeds. Uneven surfaces with steering input, I feel it. I am wondering if there is more movement than necessary with the suspension.

As for deterioration, I dont know if I'm looking for it more now or what.
