Default HELP me get the intake hose off the throttle body?

Any tips appreciated. Preferably without removing manifold.
Thanks,
Tom

There should be a band clamp around the connection point. It will then slide straight back. I know this because mine loosened up and it slid off, causing me all kinds of issues. It is not easy to see. You may have to remove the pvc valve and climb on top of the engine to get at it.

Unscrew the filter top first. That will give you a bit more space and better angle. Even than it is art of engineering at its best.

Thanks, Tom. and Misha

I got it, one piece at a time. Love the hose-to-nowhere (Resonator?). It was that big flat throttle control valve was the big impediment. PCV is smaller and down by the back I think.

Found the broken vacuum line to the driverside (new word I just made up) EGR(combi) valve; replaced it all w/ silicone tubing. we'll see if it holds up.

HAAPPY!

Tom

Big flat valve is the world's most expensive pvc. ...well maybe not the most, but the most expensive I ever heard of. $136 msrp... $91 through Carson. That was the first thing I replaced, before finding the loose band clamp. ...Glad you found the problem and it was a cheap fix!
