Where Do You Get Spare Parts
If you've been following the Ebay MMI thread you know that I have experienced a computer failure in my MMI system. It got me to start thinking about sourcing spare parts for this car. They are expensive. Over the life of the car I am likely to need many of them. For those of you that source your own parts, where do you get them from?
I was actually contemplating buying a cheap salvage model and asking a local junk yard to store it for me so that I will always have a spare when I need it. Knowing that I'm looking at $2200+ just for this fix makes that seem like a reasonable solution.
