Well a Mercedes dealer with his fancy iPad low-ball-offer app wasted my time with a USD6.5k trade offer for my very well cared for 04 which only has 77k miles on it. Just not worth doing a deal at that price.

I hate it when they do that. For that amount, I'd rather have the spare car.

Car aside, sounds like you are literally sailing off into the Euro sunset if I remember the prior post. A nice mental image. I have a picture somewhere of the first W12 I saw on the Riviera on a 2008 trip. Literally right in front of the Monte Carlo casino. But, you may be over at the harbor, or many others.

I really wish they'd bring the Avant models (including RS) to the U.S. Instead we're forced into POS crossovers which are this decades minivan and are wagons by any other metric, just with needlessly overinflated bodywork and suspension.
