Default 2008 Audi A8L 4.2 TDi - NORWAY-

Hi all!

New to this forum but im sure i`ll enjoy my time here :-)

Recently bought my new car.

This car has pretty much everything.

Double Glazing, Solar sunroof, Keyless entry/Start, Webasto auxillary heating, one touch memory, Comfort/sport seats with massage, heating and ventilation, Distronic etc..only think i miss is a few things in the rear seat (freezer, tv`s..)

Car has been lowered via vagcom, has an S8 front and W12 rear bumper. LED facelift rear taillights and 20" A7 wheels.

Got it remapped yesterday and man, it pulls like a freight train! Definantly a must-do if you have the V8 Biturbo like me :-)

Got a few bits in the mail already :-)

V8 emblem - goes on the sidefender like the S8
New floor mats - Black with white stiching

Thinking about the MRR HR3 wheels next summer..

Here are a couple of pictures:

Wow. Pretty car brother. The whole car is nice, but that rear bumper with the 'angled' exhaust exits looks amazing. Welcome to the forums, good to have you on board... Good work

I'd remove S8 badge. Other than that, awesome!

Nice....just plain nice! I think the D3 is much more appealing than the recent iteration, but I'm also partial to it as well. The only thing I'd change would be cleaning up the back side by de-badging the trunk. But that is just my personal preference...

Thanks for posting -- and welcome!

Very nice, clean look. Somebody spent some money on those bumpers and wheels. I would just debadge it instead of adding more. Be careful. It is difficult to beautify perfection.

Thank you all for the warm reception and kind words :-)

The S8 badge is not possible to remove as i think it will leave a "hole" in the bumper..?

I do agree on the de-badging but i really wanna see the "V8" emblem on the front fenders..it will give a subtle idea to anybody wanting to challenge me and my A8 :-)

I am really interested in these wheels..

http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-MRR-HR3-Wheels-Set-For-Audi-A8-A8L-A6-A7-Staggered-20x8-5-20x9-5-Rims-/390632328846?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Wheels&hash=item5af3804e8e&vxp=mtr
Are they too "ghetto" ?

The wheels on the car today are OEM A7 wheels

Did order the R8 fuel cap today

So, Floor mats, oil Cap, V8 Emblem and audi-rings keyring should arrive in a few days..will post pictures :-)

Any suggestions for future upgrades ?

Put the V8 badge in the grill, not on the fenders, it saves the cost of the second badge and looks cleaner.
Oh, and very nice looking car you have!
If only AOA would see fit to import performance diesels to the US...

This year they are bringing V6 TDI 250 HP. They just need to bust it up to 386 HP like BMW did with their 3 liter inline 6.
